Establishment and Purpose

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Air Wing – Junior Division was established at Dig Vijay Memorial School, Hisar, on October 26, 2015, with the aim of fostering the all-round development of students and preparing them to serve the nation. Through NCC, cadets get the opportunity to cultivate discipline, leadership, and a sense of responsibility while exploring their hidden talents and potential.

Diverse Activities and Exposure

The school actively participates in a wide range of NCC activities, including aircraft flying, educational visits to Parliament, tree plantation drives, Swachhta Pakhwada, and Kargil Diwas celebrations. These activities not only instill patriotism but also help students develop confidence, teamwork, and a commitment to social service.

Cadet Enrollment and Achievements

With an intake of 50 cadets in the NCC Air Wing—25 in the first year and 25 in the second year—the school has successfully trained and guided young cadets. Over the years, 200 students have earned the prestigious ‘A’ certificate, marking their dedication and achievement in the program.

Annual Camp and Recognitions

Each year, cadets actively participate in the Annual NCC Camp, where they demonstrate their skills, resilience, and teamwork. Their outstanding performance has brought numerous accolades to the school, reinforcing its commitment to nurturing responsible and capable future leaders.
